Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the first four Three Flags Classic Rallies and therefore do not have anything at all from the 1976-1979 Classics. Starting in 1980, with my new wife on the back, I started my Three Flags tradition and have completed everyone of them since then. Joanne doesn’t ride on the back any more though. From what I’ve heard the first four Classics were basically from Tijuana to Vancouver with much of it on freeways and in those early days the British Columbia Road Riders (BCRR) co-sponsored the rally. The BCRR looked after all the Vancouver stuff while the SCMA T.J. Watt Jersey looked after the start and the route. So here’s the buckles with a little side bar. The 1986 buckle did not have the year on it anywhere, it’s the only one like that.
This is one of special collections and something I am very proud of.
